Y&Y 如意牌廣告歌超級聲光大道 Singing Contest Final Stage

Over the weekend, I photographed the WOWtv Y&Y 如意牌廣告歌超級聲光大道 Singing Contest Final Stage at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. This unique singing contest brought together eleven extremely talented contestants that gave judges a really hard time deciding who is the best.

For the first round, each contestant sang their self selected song.

After the first round, Hong Kong singer 方珈悠 Jaime Fong performed a few songs while the judges made their calculations

For round two, seven of the eleven contestants were eliminated, leaving us with the top four. They had a very unique way of announcing the results. Contestants were brought up in small groups and were each given a can of Y&Y food product. The contents inside the can determined their eligibility to move on to round two!

The top four performed a self selected fast song and judges had to once again make a tough decision. Hong Kong singer 陳柏宇 Jason Chan performed a few songs from his latest CD while the judges finalized their results.

The top two contestants Steven and Lillian each sang the Y&Y Commercial Theme song. Congratulations to Lillian, who took home the top prize of $3000 cash, along with an opportunity to audition with Sony Music Entertainment!

Jason Chan & Jaime Fong Autograph Session

Hong Kong singers 陳柏宇 Jason Chan & 方珈悠 Jaime Fong greeted fans during their autograph session at Market Village yesterday afternoon. Jason & Jaime met during high school in Toronto a number of years ago, before moving to Hong Kong to enter the entertainment industry. Jason & Jaime are guest artists for the WOWtv Y&Y 如意牌廣告歌超級聲光大道 Singing Competition Finals, this evening at the Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts. Best of luck to all eleven contestants! The winner of this evening’s competition will receive $3000 cash and an opportunity to audition with Sony Music Entertainment!

WOWtv and Y&Y Foods are hosting the finals to their singing competition at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts this Saturday! Hong Kong singers 陳柏宇 Jason Chan & 方珈悠 Jaime Fong will make a special appearance at the competition. Jason & Jaime will also host an autograph session at Market Village in Markham this Friday at 5pm to meet and greet their Toronto fans. Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays! Last week, Hong Kong models A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey performed for excited fans and photographers to celebrate Christmas. On Silent Night, hundreds of fans and families joined the models and WOWtv for a night of games, prizes and performances. WOWtv talents, Miss ZhuJiang Pageant Canada 2010 winner Tina Yan, along with Magic Jim hosted an hour of performances and laughs. The media and a huge group of hobby photographers gathered with the latest and greatest camera equipment to capture the beauty of the three models.

Thank you for all your support in 2010 and we wish you and your family a very Happy New Year! We have exceeded 27,000 visitors to this blog in the last year and a half so thank you for allowing us to share our work and passion with you. May all your wishes come true in 2011!

A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C Press Conference & Autograph Session

Yesterday afternoon, Hong Kong models A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C made their first public appearance in Toronto during their Press Conference and Autograph Session at Market Village. Fans and photographers arrived early to secure a good spot for taking photos. A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C signed posters and took photos with many eager & excited fans. The event also helped raise money and awareness for the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care. Phone cards and raffle tickets were being sold to help support the centre.

A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C will be making their final public appearance this evening as they perform and countdown to Christmas at Market Village (Steeles Avenue & Kennedy Road). Don’t miss out on this exciting and fun family event! Hope to see you all there at 10pm tonight!

WOWtv invited Hong Kong models A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C to Toronto this Christmas to sing and perform at the WOWtv Christmas Countdown Show at Market Village tomorrow evening. Earlier today, A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C visited many eagerly waiting seniors at The Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Scarborough. They got a chance to tour the centre and sang a few songs with a group of cheerful seniors.

The Canadian Chinese Media Network/WOWtv will be hosting Hong Kong models A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C in Toronto this Christmas! We will be providing photography for this fun and exciting event.

A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C will make their first public appearance at Market Village this Thursday the 23rd at 5pm for their press conference and autograph session. Fans and photographers are welcome to come by for a chance to meet and greet their idols. On Friday, A. Lin, Annie G & Hailey C will be hosting a Christmas countdown show at Market Village. With six days left until Christmas, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that I have worked with for such a wonderful and enjoyable year. Together, we produced some of my best work to date, so thank you for all your support.
